A Legendary Icon Turns 100!

The party begins this September 19, 2026 to celebrate the Capitol Theatre's centennial anniversary celebration this fall. That's correct The Capitol Theatre turns 100 years old! This iconic rock palace has been a staple in Port Chester, NY for decades. Originally built by known Scottish architect Thomas Lamb in 1926 it's now known as a Landmark in this area. In the 1920's when it had it's grand opening, the theatre was equipped with the only theatre refridgerating system in Westchester County.
