SIU professor Kofi Akamani dies after shooting near Carbondale; wife faces murder charges
A Southern Illinois University Carbondale professor died after a shooting Saturday evening at a home between Carbondale and Murphysboro, and his wife has been arrested in connection with his death, authorities said.
