CREATE A Musical Life
It started in a bedroom on the North Shore of Long Island. A six year old boy staring at the revolution of a small turntable. What was going through his ears was not early rock and roll or the British Invasion. Though the recording happened about 50 minutes away at Columbia Records. Sixty years later, the boy walks along the orchard of a musical life.
The record player was traveling at 33 and a third RPM. The voice was a boy, not too much older than him. The recording was the original cast album of "Oliver" the Dicken's musical with a score by Lionel Bart. "It changed my life," he tells his friends.
A few years later he would find himself behind a microphone at Columbia with the cast of "The Sound of Music" from Jones Beach Theater. "I wanted to stay on Broadway forever." when his voice changed, Richard Rodgers asked him what he would do, "now that your child career is over." "I always wanted to write and sing songs." Rodgers smiled "The world needs great songwriting."

Some have said that he should retire. At almost sixty-eight, he sings better than ever. He writes songs and stories as well as collaboration with authors in his studio and on stage. There is an orchard of work on digital recordings and he has one mission, "CREATE Daily!
