Asking the Right Questions Produces Results

At Break-Thru we train writers to be journalists by not asking open-ended questions that produce anxious responses, but thoughtful questions that produce problem-solving answers from an interview. There is a perception that journalists have to be jaded and cynical and yet the truth is what the work calls for. In practicing the creative-science of Sound Journalism, we have formed a studio lab where we can ask questions of our readers and our CORE Respondents. Instead of surveys we feel that invitation to respond to My Local Press directly will engage our 2000 readers, 200 listeners, and 2200 viewers.

At CREATE Daily we dive deep into Community-Recreation-Education-Arts-

Travel/Transportation and Responsible Entrepreneurship. We believe in a Holistic Approach in solving economic, ecological and educational challenges where we live, work and serve community. While we support and applaud non-profit work, we believe that responsible entrepreneurship is called for in working together.

Who are you and what do you do?

What community do you serve?

Where do you live? What is your housing situation?

Do you commute to work?

What kind of schedule do you have?

Have you considered mixed-use living?

Is there a housing shortage where you live?

What are your food sources? Shopping, Farmers Markets, Co-ops, Grow your own? Local farms or ranches?

Why do you live where you live? Where would you like to live? If you could change anything in your community, what would it be?

You can respond directly to richardbeattie809@gmail.com or by commenting to this column. If you would like to join a TAG Team and/or become a trained CORE Respondent. please send me an email Richardbeattie809@gmail.com.
