What is Lubbock Frequency

Lubbock Frequency is an independent publication focused on the people, music, culture, places and stories that make Lubbock and the South Plains worth paying attention to.

We cover what is happening around Lubbock, from local musicians and live shows to community events, artists, businesses, outdoor experiences, sports and the people behind them.

Music is a major part of what we do. We spotlight Lubbock's independent music scene, cover performances and talk with the artists creating it. We also look beyond the Hub City to discover independent artists from Texas and elsewhere whose stories, music or work are worth sharing with our readers.

Our goal isn't simply to tell you what happened. It's to help you discover something worth knowing, seeing, hearing or experiencing.

Lubbock has a lot going on. Lubbock Frequency is here to turn up the volume.
