Miami's Tallest Building Nears Top-Off: Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Set to Redefine Skyline

Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on what will soon be Florida's tallest building — the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami — as the tower approaches its long-awaited "top-off" milestone this month.

Developed by Property Markets Group (PMG) and Greybrook Realty Partners, with design by Sieger Suarez Architects and interiors by Meyer Davis Studio, the 100-story supertall skyscraper is set to become the centerpiece of downtown Miami's rapidly evolving skyline. At full height, the tower will surpass 1,000 feet, edging out other South Florida landmarks to claim the title of the tallest building in the state.

The mixed-use tower will house a 205-room Waldorf Astoria hotel alongside more than 350 branded luxury residences, ranging from one-bedroom units to full-floor penthouses. Residents and guests will have access to a suite of five-star amenities, including multiple pools, a private beach club shuttle, a spa and wellness center, curated dining concepts, and dedicated concierge services synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand.

The building has already drawn national attention after motivational speaker and author Tony Robbins purchased the property's premier penthouse for a reported $30 million, according to sources familiar with the transaction. The sale is among the highest recorded in Miami's luxury condo market this year and underscores the growing demand among high-net-worth buyers for trophy properties in the city's urban core.

Once complete, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami is expected to further cement the city's status as a global hub for luxury real estate, joining a wave of supertall developments reshaping the downtown skyline.
