Enjoy Finalizes Sale of Enjoy Punta del Este Complex to Brazilian Group JHSF Península for US$160 million

Enjoy finalized the sale of its Punta Del Este complex to Brazilian Operator JHSF Península for US$160 million. The deal comes as Enjoy works to fulfill legal obligations to its bond holders. The property started out as a Hilton owned casino and hotel complex.

Now, Brazilian Group JHSF Península will take over the complex. The deal transfers 100% of the shares of Baluma S.A., the company that owns the real estate. As a part of the deal, the workforce at the complex will not face uncertainty until 2028.

Subsidiaries Inversiones Enjoy SpA and Enjoy Consultora SpA confirmed the signing of the purchase agreement. Interest in the property heated up in late 2025, with Giuseppe Cipriani, CEO of Grupo Cipriani, submitting a US$160 million offer on the property.

Now the dust settled, and JHSF Península has control over the casino complex. The casino and resort are located in the middle of Uruguay’s most stable seaside destination. With 292 rooms, 4,000 square meters of casino space and 75 gaming tables, it is an attractive investment.
