  • The Good Neighbor Fest.

An upcoming event coming to the local community of Chambersburg may be a fun day for family and friends to get together. Hosted by Hold The Line For Humanity, the Good Neighbor Fest will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at Mike Water’s Park on Second Street in Chambersburg.

The event will have a variety of activities for all ages, with chances to engage and connect with the whole community. A variety of local venders, nonprofits, community organizations and volunteer opportunities will also be available to enjoy and explore, as well and multicultural foods to enjoy and music to dance to.

Not only is this event for the fun of the community, it is also to help give others support and help grow as a community. Hold The Line For Humanity wants to bring the community together to help people be more kind and strong together, giving everyone a chance to connect and get the support they need, in any way, their motto being “A peaceful, nationwide act of presence rooted in unity, responsabiltity and remembrance.”

If you need a good support system or want to create new bonds within your community I recommend this event. With local venders and a change to nominate a good neighbor or perform locally, it seems like a good way to get out and enjoy the day and learn more about the people around you. You can learn more at their Facebook page or visit their website and holdthelineforhumanity.org, and nominate a good neighbor or sign up to perform at holdthelineforhumanity@gmail.com.
