Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Boise Police Shooting

The Ada County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the man who died following an officer-involved shooting on Thursday in Boise. Daniel Konovalov, 32, of Boise, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:13 p.m.

According to the coroner’s report, the cause of death was determined to be "multiple gunshot wounds." The incident occurred in the vicinity of a canal and a gas station located at the intersection of South Cloverdale and West Overland roads. Local law enforcement has not yet provided further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
