Bvlgari to Open First U.S. Hotel in Miami Beach, Restoring Historic 1950s Landmark

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans for the Bvlgari Hotel Miami Beach, set to open in 2028 as the luxury brand's first property in the United States and the 12th in its global collection.

The hotel will be located at 100 21st Street in Miami Beach, occupying a prime waterfront position with direct access to the city's renowned beaches. Guests will enjoy stunning ocean views just steps from the vibrant Miami Art Deco District.

The project involves the restoration of a 1950s Modernist building that once served as a glamorous winter retreat for Old Hollywood celebrities during the 50s and 60s. The property is a contributing building in the National Register Architectural District, and Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel—the design team behind all Bvlgari Hotels—will oversee its transformation.

The restored hotel will feature 100 rooms, most configured as suites, along with an outdoor pool, spa and fitness facilities, and a restaurant and bar helmed by acclaimed Chef Niko Romito.

Construction and renovation work is expected to continue through 2028.
