A group of black men founded their own laundry detergent company. Established in November 2012, True is an American manufacturing and distribution company that specializes in household cleaning supplies. Providing affordable, quality products and excellent customer service. Veteran owned and headquartered in Atlanta Georgia.

True sells a wide variety of products. Liquid Detergent, Laundry sheets, Fabric Softeners, Dryer Sheets, Laundry Hampers, Detergent Sheets, and much more. Plenty of options for keeping clothes spick-and span.

True cleaning products are made with eco-friendly ingredients. Void of any caustic ingredients. Not tested on animals and no animal by-products. Septic tank safe, nontoxic, biodegradable and phosphorus free. Contains no dyes. The 4X concentrated cleaning power, allows consumers to use less detergent per wash. Removing dirt, Sports Oder and sweat.

I have used the True Heavy Duty Liquid Laundry Detergent, Free and Clear, and Fabric softener. After a wash my clothes were silky smooth with a fresh clean scent. This detergent cleans laundry without relying on heavy suds and bubbles. True Laundry Detergent has proven that the amount of suds does not equal the degree of cleaning power.

The True founders are Ali B. Muhammad, Malik Saleem, and Abdur-Rahim Shaheed. Each has decades of experience in running businesses. Bringing unique areas of expertise to True.

Muhammad is a Vietnam War Veteran, an entrepreneur, real estate developer, consultant, master marketer since 1968.  Achieving much recognition for operating successful businesses in the fast food, bakery and real estate industries.

Saleem has been in the retail business for over 30 years. Specializing in international business. Importing, exporting and distribution. He is part owner of an athletic clothing brand with his son Jawwaad Saleem.
