Punta del Este Airport Offers Flights to Bariloche for Winter Tourism

The Punta del Este Airport is partnering with Travel Rock again to offer flight to Bariloche, Argentina. Southern Argentina is popular in the winter, as it offers a range of winter sports and stunning views.

After setting a record last year, the venture is once again giving clients a direct flight between two popular resort destinations.

Guillermo Pagés, the airport's general manager, commented, “Last year’s experience was a success for us, as it allowed us to demonstrate the airport’s operational capacity outside of the summer season and reaffirmed our support for initiatives that create new experiences for young people...It’s a combination of reducing seasonality, connectivity, and services that will allow teenagers from all over the country to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

The flights are scheduled for late June and early July, with 40 flights on offer. This figure is 25% higher than last year, which sets the program up for another record.
