"The Influencer Project" REVIEW
When a young girl attempts to go viral with a suicide video, her favorite influencer who happens to be filming In Copenhagen begins to receive creepy messages from a stalker. The messages intensifies as the influencer continues to film every moment leading up to death defying video that ultimately gets over 10 million viewers.
In a nutshell, it is an influencers worst nightmare come true and ultimately the very real danger that influencers ultimately put themselves in every time they go on camera.
Done in documentary format, The Influencer Project stars real life influencer Chiara king and the actual accounts of her being stalked by random people who seek to follow her. Of course Hollywood takes over to create an ultimate horror house that she must survive somehow.
All in all, the influencer project is a lesson and a warning that being an influencer isn’t for the faint of heart as people poor their hearts and souls into something this only seen on screen for a short moment on social media.
The film came out in theaters October 1 and is currently showing in one near you.
