Fire Breaks Out at Andy's Restaurant and Lounge in Local Strip Mall

Firefighters responded to a working fire at a one-story strip mall Tuesday after smoke was reported coming from Andy's Restaurant and Lounge.

Upon arrival, crews observed smoke showing from the restaurant and incident command quickly upgraded the call to a working fire. Firefighters deployed one hose line to attack the blaze.

Interior crews conducted primary searches throughout the building and confirmed no occupants were found inside. Emergency medical services are currently evaluating two pediatric patients at the scene. The nature of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.

Crews have since isolated power to the building and are continuing overhaul and ventilation operations. Officials confirmed the fire has not extended to any neighboring businesses in the strip mall.
