Kalamazoo, Michigan - The city of Kalamazoo has been the epic center of sports from Western Michigan to the K-Wings and all other that came and gone. But now a new young team has emerged...The Kalamazoo Growlers.

The Growlers a NWL (Northwoods League) affiliate took the city by storm and has been one the most storied team in the city. Led by then GM now Owner Brian Colopy, this team was destin for nothing less than great and has produced great talent to the MLB. After the dissolve of the previous team Kalamazoo Kings that left the city without baseball for years, Brian and others devised a way to bring back baseball to Kalamazoo.

With hard work and a mission the Growlers are here and has now become a great sports team in just 13 years from sending prominent players to the MLB, creating NWL Allstars, to multiple Division Titles, and becoming (2x) NWL Champions in '22 and '24 the Growlers aren't going anywhere.

Brian and his team collaborated over the years with various partners to bring this team where they are, and now a new partner emerged...Honor Credit Union. Not only Brian and his team has worked out a long standing relationship but agreed to change the name of the stadium from Mayor's Riverfront Park to Honor Credit Union Stadium to continue with the Growlers tradition....Fan experience, Community engagement, but most importantly...Love for the city of Kalamazoo.
