Frigorífico Modelo's Angus breeding product offerings were embraced by the Uruguayan Angus breeding community. The 11th Annual Breeding Stock virtual auction was successfully marketed by Zambrano & Cía. platform, and sponsored by the Uruguayan Aberdeen Angus Breeders Society.

Held on June 18, the breeding product offerings included cows, calves, and embryo packages.

Rodrigo Fernández, director of Frigorífico Modelo, commented:

“The offering consists of 23 physical lots, including cows, calves, and pregnant heifers. In addition, there are seven packages of embryos, five in each...Within the 23 physical lots, there are six being sold at 50% off, and in our opinion, these are animals destined for continued competition. They are specimens with outstanding characteristics and great potential to continue participating in shows.”

Uruguay is an important destination for the livestock industry, with an advanced infrastructure to support the cultivation and export of meat globally.
