Ras Al Khaimah rang in the New Year on Wednesday night with a breathtaking celebration that once again put the emirate in the record books. The highlight of the evening was a stunning Guinness World Record achievement for the largest aerial image of a phoenix ever created by drones, showcasing the emirate's commitment to delivering world-class entertainment.

More than 2,300 drones illuminated the night sky, with 1,000 of them forming the magnificent wings of the phoenix. The aerial programme also featured a second captivating formation called The Welcome, depicting a human figure rising from the sea with open arms—a powerful symbol representing Ras Al Khaimah's

spirit of hospitality and openness to visitors from around the world.

The drone spectacular was followed by an impressive 6-kilometre fireworks display stretching along the coastline, creating a fitting finale to the evening's festivities. This latest achievement brings Ras Al Khaimah's total to 13 Guinness World Records titles earned through its New Year's Eve celebrations over the past seven years, cementing its reputation as a global destination for spectacular events.
