Azle Man Charged with First-Degree Murder Following Fatal Shooting of Daughter
An investigation is currently underway in Azle, Texas, after a domestic dispute resulted in the death of 25-year-old Rebekah Bailey Brooks. On the afternoon of the incident, authorities were called to a local residence following reports of a shooting during a physical altercation between the victim and her mother.
According to police reports, 61-year-old Charles Tod Brooks intervened in the dispute and fatally shot his daughter. Emergency responders arrived shortly thereafter and attempted life-saving measures; however, Rebekah Bailey Brooks was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charles Tod Brooks has been taken into custody and is facing charges of first-degree murder. He is currently being held on a $2 million bond.
