Boise Firefighters Clear Hazard from Boise River at Julia Davis Park

On Monday afternoon, Boise Fire crews were dispatched to the Boise River near Julia Davis Park after a large tree collapsed into the water. The fallen tree, which measured approximately four feet in diameter, blocked a significant portion of the river channel, creating an immediate hazard for community members enjoying the water.

Crews worked for several hours to clear the debris and restore safe passage. During the operation, firefighters successfully assisted in rerouting floaters who were already on the river to prevent potential collisions or accidents.
