President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has offered automatic employment opportunities to 30 outstanding graduating students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), as part of efforts to encourage academic excellence and support the development of young Nigerian talents.

The announcement was made during a recent engagement with the institution, where the Africa’s richest man commended the students for their exceptional academic performances and urged them to continue striving for excellence.

According to Dangote, investing in education and human capital remains critical to Nigeria’s economic growth and industrial development. He noted that the Dangote Group is committed to providing opportunities for brilliant young Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to the country's progress.

The selected graduates, drawn from various disciplines, will join different departments within the Dangote Group, one of Africa’s largest conglomerates with interests spanning cement, sugar, salt, fertilizer, oil refining, and petrochemicals.

University authorities and students have hailed the gesture, describing it as a major boost to academic excellence and a demonstration of the private sector’s role in empowering the nation’s youth.

Observers say the initiative is expected to motivate students across the country to pursue academic distinction, knowing that excellence can open doors to rewarding career opportunities.

The Dangote Group has consistently supported education through scholarships, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment programmes aimed at nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals in Nigeria.
