Mass Shooting at Twin Falls In-and-Out Drive-Thru

Authorities reported that a gunman opened fire at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger on Blue Lakes Boulevard North in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday and also fired near the neighboring Twin Falls Visitor Center.
In a Sunday press conference, officials said an off-duty Idaho State Police trooper and an armed citizen engaged the shooter, reportedly driving him from the scene and helping prevent additional casualties.
The suspect, Chad Williams (24), was later confirmed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound; police chief Matthew Hicks said the Williams family was notified and investigators are working to identify a motive.
Police clarified that Williams is the only suspect and that he is believed to have acted alone after multiple reports misidentified another man.
Investigators said three people were killed and at least seven others were injured.
In-N-Out owner Lynsi Snyder said an unnamed restaurant employee was among those killed.
Among the injured, two people were treated and released, three were described as in stable condition, and two were in critical condition; Terry Dudley, a Northstar Taxi driver, was hospitalized after being shot twice while charging his Tesla, according to a company representative.
Officials also said an additional officer-involved shooting occurred during the response and is being reviewed by the Jerome Police Department, while a separate shooting reported later Saturday night was confirmed as unrelated.
