"Above and Below" REVIEW

When a group of teens vacationing decide to voyage into shark infested waters, what they don't realize is there is just as much to fear above the water than below. As their ship gets sieged by criminals, they begin to relay on each other to survie the danger on either side of the waters. The question is will they be able to survive it all or meet their watery graves.

In true "Jaws" style, Above and Below is the typical summer movie that seems to come out every year to try to top the fear of going into the water for summer vacation and this one definitely fulfills every goal of that. The film stars well known "baddie" Antonio Banderas who ultimately has a unique knack of the suave bad guy that one would go to lunch with even as he plots to kill you. He excels in this and more next to his counterparts who strive to "complete the mission" at all costs.

Additionally, the teens are played by Laura Marano, Christina Ochoa and Donncha Tynan, who take on the careless vacationer who must act quickly when they realize the danger above which outweighs what is below. Quick subtle acting will have audiences on the edge of their seats wondering just what will happen next in this power pack action adventure that will make you not want to go into the water as always this summer.
