Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Lagos under the EndBadGovernance movement, calling on the federal government to take decisive steps to address rising economic hardship, insecurity, and the declining cost of living across Nigeria.

The protesters, who marched peacefully through parts of the city, expressed frustration over soaring food prices, unemployment, inflation, and persistent security challenges affecting communities nationwide. They urged authorities to implement policies that would ease the burden on ordinary Nigerians and improve living conditions.

Participants carried placards with messages demanding accountability, good governance, and economic reforms. Many argued that millions of citizens are struggling to meet basic needs amid increasing financial pressures and worsening social conditions.

Organizers of the demonstration said the protest was aimed at drawing attention to the daily challenges faced by Nigerians and encouraging government officials to respond more effectively to public concerns. They emphasized that citizens have a constitutional right to peacefully express their grievances and demand better governance.

Security personnel were deployed to monitor the protest and maintain order, while organizers urged participants to remain peaceful throughout the exercise. The demonstration is part of a broader campaign advocating reforms to tackle economic difficulties, improve security, and strengthen public confidence in government institutions.
