Delano Miami Beach Hotel Renovation Nears Completion
MIAMI BEACH, FL — The iconic Delano Miami Beach hotel is nearing the completion of a comprehensive renovation project that promises to restore the landmark property to its original grandeur while incorporating modern luxury amenities.
The renovation, spearheaded by Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality company that operates the property, represents a significant investment in one of South Beach's most recognizable hotels. The project is being executed in partnership with architectural firm Shulman + Associates and interior design studio Roman and Williams, both known for their work on high-profile hospitality projects.

The scope of work includes a complete redesign of all 195 guest rooms and suites, a reimagined lobby that honors the hotel's original Philippe Starck design while introducing contemporary elements, and extensive updates to the property's pool area and outdoor spaces. The renovation also encompasses the hotel's restaurant and bar venues, with new culinary concepts set to debut alongside the refreshed spaces.

"This renovation honors the Delano's storied history while positioning it for the future," said a spokesperson for Ennismore. "We're preserving the elements that made this hotel an icon while elevating the guest experience with modern touches."

The Delano first opened in 1995 and quickly became a cultural landmark, known for its minimalist design, billowing white curtains, and celebrity clientele. The property has remained a fixture of Miami Beach's hospitality scene for nearly three decades.

The hotel is scheduled to unveil its renovated spaces in phases, with the guest rooms and lobby areas expected to open in spring 2024. The full property completion, including all dining venues and outdoor spaces, is targeted for summer 2024.
The renovation marks the latest chapter in the Delano's evolution and signals continued investment in Miami Beach's luxury hotel market, which has seen significant development activity in recent years.
