El Dorado International Airport (IATA: BOG, ICAO: SKBO) is the international airport serving Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, and its surrounding metropolitan area. The airport sits mostly within the Fontibón district of Bogotá, though it also extends partially into the Engativá district and into the municipality of Funza, in the Western Savanna province of the Cundinamarca department.

El Dorado ranks as the second-busiest airport in Latin America, trailing only São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport. It also stands as Iberoamerica's most important cargo hub, having handled 760,000 metric tons of cargo in a single year. These figures underscore the airport's central role not just for Bogotá, but for commercial aviation across the entire region.

Within Colombia, El Dorado is by far the country's busiest and most important airport, accounting for just under half 49% of all national air traffic. That dominant share reflects the airport's position as the primary gateway connecting the capital, and the country as a whole, to the rest of the world.

The facility spans 1,700 acres (690 hectares) and features two runways, each measuring 3,800 meters (12,500 feet) in length. From El Dorado, travelers can catch direct international flights to North America, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East, cementing its status as one of the most connected airports in the Americas.
