"Haunted Heist" REVIEW

Four friends come together after years of living seperate lives with one common goal to find a rare artifact in a spooky mansion. There is only one problem and that is the ghosts that lurk inside, feeding on the black people that dare to voyage in.

In typical Lil Rel Howery tradition, Haunted Heist captures the same horror as his original masterpiece "Get Out" which won him instant fame with both his unique blend of horror and comedy, though this one delves even more in the comedy sense in that it challenges racial stereotype comedy. That being said, the film isn't nearly as harsh as other stereotypical movies.

The film does star Howery as well as Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Blackwell, Andrew Bachelor, Brett Gilman, Karlous Miller, Tony Baker and LaKeysha Edwards, all of who bring the suspense and comedy to a open audience who is ready for a good laugh.

A word of caution as the film is rated R for its crude humor, but that being said, it's a film that those who are open to it will be pleasantly surprised and delighted for a fun filled day at the theater.

At an hour 27 minutes, Haunted Hiest came out in theaters July 24th and is currently playing at one near you. See it if you can look past the slightly racial humor and enjot the story behind.
