If you've strolled down Lincoln Road or Ocean Drive lately, you may have noticed something new on the streetscape—sleek, dual-sided digital kiosks that are changing how residents and visitors navigate Miami Beach.

The city has been rolling out Interactive Kiosk Experience (IKE) stations in high-traffic pedestrian areas throughout South Beach, and they're packed with useful features.

What These Kiosks Offer:

Local Directory – Browse nearby restaurants, shops, services, and upcoming events with just a tap

Multi-Modal Directions – Get wayfinding help for walking, bus routes, and rail connections

Free Wi-Fi – Connect your device without eating up your data plan

Emergency Button – One touch connects you directly to 911, automatically sharing your location with dispatchers for two-way communication

Where to Find Them:

Kiosks are appearing at popular spots including Collins Avenue & 23rd Street, Lincoln Road & Washington Avenue, and Ocean Drive & 10th Street, with more locations planned for historic districts throughout the area.

Beyond these public kiosks, interactive touch screens have become increasingly common across Miami Beach—from museum exhibits to local business displays and community events.
