Netflix’s Big Mistakes starring Dan Levy is back and filming for season two

The cast and crew of the comedy series Big Mistakes, executive produced by actor Dan Levy was in Edison, NJ, August 28, to film season two, which was renewed by Netflix.

Levy who serves as the show's creator, executive producer and showrunner also stars in it.

Many fans and residents of the area showed up on Old Post Road, off of Woodbridge Avenue, and many were allowed to walk on set and watch as live filming ensued.

Although the show is still in the beginning phases of filming and editing, set director Alex Smith said that the show can be expected to premier season 2 early 2027.

“It has to go through the editing process once everything has been filmed, but I’d say early next year”, Smith said when asked how soon can fans expect the season two premiere to be ready.

The show has been given a 7.2 on IMDB and an 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, and fans are excited to see it.

“I get the chance to actually watch a show that was filmed in the city that I currently live in, which is so cool,” said Kyheria Cooper, a current resident of Edison, New Jersey.

Cooper enjoys binge watching shows on Netflix, which she says is her favorite streaming platform.

Netflix is gearing up for a big year as they also have NFL season games scheduled to be live streaming on their platform all year as well.
