Whether you're lacing up your running shoes or planning your weekend errands, the 2026 Life Time Miami Marathon and Half is about to reshape traffic across the city.

The 24th annual race kicks off in front of the Kaseya Center at 601 Biscayne Blvd., sending thousands of runners on a scenic 26.2-mile journey through some of Miami's most iconic neighborhoods. Full marathon participants will cross over to Miami Beach, loop through the Rickenbacker Causeway toward Key Biscayne, and wind through Brickell and Coconut Grove before finishing just four blocks south of the start at 301 Biscayne Blvd.

Running the half? The 13.1-mile route shares the same start and finish lines but skips the Brickell, Coconut Grove, and Rickenbacker Causeway sections.

When to Expect Disruptions

Street closures begin Friday for staging and setup, with traffic impacts continuing through Sunday afternoon. If you're not participating, consider this your warning to plan alternate routes—or better yet, grab a coffee and cheer on your neighbors from the sidelines.
