If you're looking for a reason to get out of the house this month, Woodinville Repertory Theatre has you covered. Their current production of Native Gardens, running now through May 24 at The Restaurant at DeLille Cellars, is a fast, funny comedy that's been winning over audiences since it opened on May 1.

Written by Karen Zacarías, the play follows two neighboring couples in Washington, D.C., whose polite relationship unravels over a disputed property line and a prize rose bush. What starts as a small disagreement about landscaping escalates into something much more personal and much more hilarious.

Director Alicia Mendez says the play's honesty is what makes it click. "These characters all believe they're the reasonable ones in the room, and that's exactly what makes it so relevant right now."

The Restaurant at DeLille Cellars makes this an easy full evening out.

Performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. include an optional multi-course dinner, which starts serving at 6 p.m.

Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. feature an open bar. It's a great option for date night, a group outing, or just a fun excuse to explore Woodinville Wine Country.

Tickets and dinner reservations can be booked through Woodinville Rep’s website, or reach out to tix@woodinvillerep.org / 425-298-5353 for group inquiries. Don't wait - the show closes May 24.
