Fatal Motorcycle Collision Claims Life of Caldwell Teen in Elmore County

ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police are currently investigating a tragic fatal crash that occurred late Friday night, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old man from Caldwell.

According to official reports from the Idaho State Police, the incident took place at approximately 9:40 p.m. on US20 near milepost 124, situated just south of Pine. Preliminary findings indicate that the victim was operating a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling in the westbound lane. While the motorcyclist was in the process of passing another vehicle, a deer entered the roadway, leading to a collision. Authorities are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash as the investigation remains ongoing.
