A FORMER MICHIGAN PRISONER SUES

Cochese Jackson was freed after serving time awaiting trial has won a $307 million dollar lawsuit against the prison and a contracted Healthcare provider for poor health treatment. According to ClickonDetroit News and Jill Jordan Sieder of the Atlanta Black Star, Jackson went in for an colostomy surgery than when wrong by misdiagnoses back in 2016. Corizon Health who provides medical services through the Michigan Department of corrections to the inmates was found liable for causing by deeming the reverse surgery was nothing more like cosmetic surgery and was not an emergency issue in 2017. Corizon Health also was found neglecting and not providing Jackson with adequate supplies for treatment for cleanness and sanitizing such as fitted bags and pads to treat his surgery. Jackson went on to claim that he was in agonizing pain, uncontrol of his bowels, and possible life threatening infection for 2 years.
