  • The unidentified suspect reportedly drove past the home in a sedan and opened fire during a party.
  • No other injuries were reported, and the suspect remains unidentified.

  • The victim’s identity will be released after next-of-kin notification.

Police and emergency crews responded just before 6 a.m. Sunday to a shooting at a home on West Clement Road. Officers found a woman shot on the front porch, and Boise Fire Department crews and Ada County Paramedics attempted life-saving measures before she died at the scene. Numerous people were inside, so officers secured and evacuated the home while interviewing witnesses. Investigators believe a party was taking place when an unidentified person drove by in a sedan and fired multiple shots at the residence before leaving. Detectives from the Boise Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are searching for surveillance footage and additional witnesses. Anyone who was at the home and left before police arrived is asked to contact Ada County Dispatch at `208-377-6790`.
