I started this site because I believe Pinellas County deserves strong, independent local journalism. After more than two decades as a newspaper reporter—much of that time covering this community—I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have someone paying attention to the decisions being made at city halls, county meetings and behind the scenes. A lot of that coverage has disappeared over the years. This is my way of helping bring it back. Thanks for reading. It really does matter.
