On the Road Again: Kamala Harris Showcases ‘107 Days’ and Her Presidential Journey

Former Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at the Altria Theatre in Richmond. She spoke to an audience of hundreds for a “Conversation with Kamala Harris” as part of her
book tour for “107 Days.”
Harris was welcomed by a packed audience at the theater and was greeted by a chat moderator.

status quo and the need for leaders to support innovative change. The discussion highlighted
the growing distrust in the scientific institutions and the importance of public involvement in
shaping health policy. In addition, the discussion underscores the interconnectedness and
fragility of the Earth and the potential of space missions like the Artemis Accords to foster
international cooperation.
Harris said,
“I wrote about it, but my pain and concern is that I really do want and hope that we, the
American people, understand how important we are. And I don’t mean the government, and I
don’t mean the President of the United States, whoever that may be; I mean the people.”

Harris mentioned,
“The American people are seen as imperfect but still fighting for what they believe is right. And
hopes that the American people understand their importance to the rest of the world.”
At one point, the conversation shifted to a more positive note, highlighting women sticking
together and the support from individuals during her 107-day campaign.
Harris stated,
“My success in my life and career is due to many women and men who believed in and
encouraged something in me that has allowed me to achieve the success I've achieved. I think
most of us would say this: none of us would have achieved any success that we have, you
know, by ourselves.

“I talked with many world leaders about signing on to the Artemis Accords, and we got a number.
