Early Voting for the August 18 Primary Election Begins Monday Across Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE (July 31, 2026) — Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia reminds voters that Early Voting for the August 18 Primary Election begins Monday, August 3, and runs through August 16, at 23 convenient locations throughout Miami-Dade County.

Early Voting Schedule

Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Saturday, August 8 – Sunday, August 9: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Saturday, August 15 – Sunday, August 16: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

A secure ballot intake station will be staffed at each Early Voting location during hours of operation.

Voters are reminded that the final day to request a Vote-by-Mail (VBM) ballot is August 6.

"We want to make voting as easy and convenient as possible. Every voter should participate to keep our democracy strong and vibrant," said Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia. "If you voted by mail in the last presidential election and have not renewed your request, your vote-by-mail request has expired, and you must submit a new request if that's how you choose to vote. Your VBM ballot can be returned by mail — no postage required — or dropped off at any Early Voting location during hours of operation, under the marked tents at our secure ballot intake stations. Ballots may also be returned at our Headquarters in Doral or our Downtown Branch Office. All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, August 18. Our goal is to conduct elections that are secure, accurate, transparent and accessible for all Miami-Dade County voters."
