"Digger" REViEW

It's a major oil crisis and one man thinks he can save it all and restore things back, but can he really do so or is humanity destined to utter distruction.

Ultimately Digger is a comical satire about what we inevtably doing to the world around us and Tom Cruise really gives a star stunned performance as Rockwell. He truly emboides the idea of a man trying to be the one to save everyone. The film contains elements of theater combined with realism as it shows the cold truth of Global warming and what the oil industry is ultimately doing to the society. Additionally the film stars John Goodman and Riz Ahmed, who equally provides an Oscar worthy performance that is hopefully worthy award recognition.

All in all, 2 hour run time, Digger is a film that definitely is not like anything ever produced. That being said, despite the awesome acting, the story it self could be slightly better. The just story was there but the execution lacked as there was alot going on in the movie that audience had to comprehend. Perhaps another round might be able to make some sense.

Digger came out in theaters October 1 and is currenty playng in one near you.
