"Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother" REVIEW

After the death of his wife, a Muslim man must conquer his ultimate fear of being able to adequately take care of his family while questions of religion and faith pose even greater challenges to him and his life.

Your Mother! Your Mother! Your Mother stars Mahersala Ali in a role that he seems born to do as he steps into the gang world with much ease and timelyness. This time he has his youngest daughter, an infant that adds to the drama and emotion and at moments will have you gripping your chest wondering if that is going to be his last.

Similarly the film also stars Star Trek's John Cho in ultimately a villain type role where each encounter with Ali further pushes him to his breaking point. Finally the film wouldn't be complete without By Any Means' Giancarlo Esposito who like Ali seems quite a natural given the genre of film.

All in all, at an hour 51 minute runtime, Your Mother! is a typical action packed gangster movie that throws a surprise into play by mixing in traditional Muslim cultures. The film came out in theaters October 9 and is currently playing for anyone who just wants to get away and delve into a good ole gangster drama.
