A program to feed Salem children food for lunches and dinners at various locations in the city is underway for another round this year, free of charge! Mayor Dominick Pangallo said Summer Eats brings with it programs, games, and more, too, and runs throughout the summer starting this week.

Locations include Witchcraft Heights, Bates, Loring Towers, and the Salem Public Library for lunches.

Gallows Hill, Mary Jane Lee Park, Rainbow Terrace, and Forest River Pool will also be serving free lunches for children.

For free children dinner meals, you can head on over to Collins Cove Park, Palmer Cove Park, and Pequot Highlands.

Lunches vary in time but run throughout the various locations from 10:15 am to 1:45 pm. For dinner, it is the same, with the times open for various locations running from 4 pm to 5:45 pm.

All teens ages 18 and under can attend for a free meal, Monday through Friday, from June 30 until August 21. A starting celebration will be held at 38 Levitt St., Palmer Cove Park, from 4-6 pm on June 29.
