Evil Dead Burn is a story that many domestic violence victims can relate too, though through the magic of cinematography, it takes leaps into our worst fears. The film stars Souheila Yocoub as Alice who does a fabulous job portraying that kind of painful reality of domestic violence, She seemlessly goes from that sort of grief that that of fending for her own life when her in-laws suddenly turn on her. Equally the film also stars Hunter Doohan as well as Tandi Wright, Luciane Buchanan and Erroll Shand, all who deliver powerful performances that will have you glued to the screen not wanting to take your eyes off for one moment.

Fast paced and full of all kind of emotions Evil Dead Burn is probably one of the best sequels for a franchise of it's nature. It had everything for anyone to enjoy including just enough context for ones who have never seen an Evil Dead Movie as well as hidden gems for true fans of the horror genre. Of course, the end scenes also tease of an upcoming sequel with the bloody return of Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) who was the main character in Evil Dead Rise.
All in all, Evil Dead Burn will fulfill your every curiosity, especially given the fiery homage to other frnanchises that use that same techinique including Scream and Halloween Kills. That being said, at an hour 50 minutes, Evil Dead Burn delivers a new storyline that exceeds expectations with it's awesome and most gruesome cinematography yet.
The film came out in theaters July 10th and is currently playing in one near you.
