"Angel and the Badman" REVIEW

Angel studios is bringing back the western genre with a tribute to John Wayne and Gail Russell’s Angel and The Badman. When bandit Quirt Evans lands in the hospitality of a Rancher’s daughter and her family, he quickly learns a new lesson over faith versus guns. He begins to settle in happily until the other gang finds him and threatens the life of his “angels” if he doesn’t give back the money.

All in all it’s a classic western love story with a twist and every bit of ounce that one knows and loves in that genre. The film stars Sarah’s Oil's Zachary Levi in a role that seems meant for him. He definitely has the sauveness of portraying that character of a sleazy ‘Badman’ who ultimately has unique change of heart through the power of the women he’s around.  It ultimately all comes down to that womanly charm that charms him into the man he ought to be.

Similarly the film also stars The Last Rodeo’s Neal McDonough who also does a great job of playing that of a villain so to speak. finally the film wouldn’t be complete without Tommy Lee Jones, Meg Fraser and Jean Louisa Kelly who all add to the excitement of the live action western picture for a new generation.

Angel and the Badman came out in theaters October 9 and is currently playing in on near you. See it for a wild good time.
